What Games Did You Discover Through Your PS Plus Subscription?
I've discovered and played a lot of games through my PS Plus subscription, but the one that stands out the most to me isMarvel's Midnight Suns. I'm not usually one for turn-based games, but I found the story to be intriguing, and I enjoyed the fact that it gave some screen time to some of the lesser known Marvel characters that we haven't seen in the MCU. Such an underrated game!I'd also credit PS Plus for me finding out aboutHorizon: Zero Dawn. A great game and an absolutely cracking start to a great series.

What's The Most Visually Impressive PlayStation Game You've Played?
It's really hard to overstate just how gorgeousGhost of Tsushimacan be (which makes me even more excited forGhost of Yotei). Recently ported to PC,Ghost of Tsushimais a feast for the eyes in just about every scene – you don't even have to be a big fan of ancient Samurai aesthetics or classical Japanese artwork to appreciate how eye-catching the art direction is in this game.

Which PlayStation Franchise Had The Biggest Influence On You and Why?
Though it hasn't been a PlayStation-exclusive franchise since the first couple of PlayStation console generations, the first threeCrash Bandicootgames were hugely influential on me as a wee gamer. They're ridiculously fun even by today's standards, and though they weren't the first games I ever played, withoutCrash Bandicoot1-3 I don't think I'd have the same appreciation for wacky, well-designed platformers that I do now.

What Game Do You Most Associate The PlayStation 2 With?
The PlayStation 2 was the first console I had as a young teenager, and the first game I really fell in love with on it wasJak 2. It can be debated whether the first and third games are better than the second one, but I have a lot of nostalgia for this one in particular. A strong runner-up would beShadow of the Colossus, which was utterly jaw-dropping, especially for the time and the PS2 console generation.
What Was The Last Game You Earned A Platinum Trophy For?
It's been a while since I've had the time to comb through a trophy list and finish it, but I think it would have been Spider-Man 2, or evenSpider-Man: Miles Morales, since I went back and played it before the latest installment dropped. With that said, I'm almost finished with the trophy list forHorizon: Zero Dawn, since I picked it back up when the remastered version was released.

If You Could Only Play 3 PS Games For The Rest Of Your Life, What Would They Be?
It's hard to choose just three from the enormous lineup of the bestPS exclusives of all time, but if I could only choose three to play for the rest of my life I'd have to make my choices based on their replayability, or at least my enjoyment of them in the long term. I'd personally choose:- Bloodborne- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2- Shadow of the ColossusI would probably get tired ofShadow of the Colossusafter a few times through, butTony Hawk's Pro Skater 2andBloodborneare timeless classics that I wouldn't mind replaying over and over.

What's Your Dream Launch Game For When The PS6 Releases?
It's been said before, and I'll say it again –Bloodbornedesperately needs a remaster, and if it's going to launch at any time, it might as well be a launch title for the PlayStation 6 to drive up sales. Speaking for myself, as someone who has yet to playBloodbornebut is a huge fan ofFromSoftware's other work, playing a remastered version of this cult gothic classic would definitely make me want to get the console.

What’s Your Favorite PlayStation Game Of All Time?
Though there are games that are grander in spectacle with better gameplay nowadays, there's nothing that quite compares to the feeling of playingShadow of the Colossusfor the first time as a young teenager. It was the first game that really blew me away in terms of graphical quality (for 2005) and the sheer scope of the boss encounters, and when I think about my favorite experiences in games, the moment when I encountered the first Colossus is really high up there.

What Is Your Fondest Memory Of PlayStation?
I remember like it was yesterday having a sleepover birthday party with 4 of my friends where we all played the PlayStation 2 together. One of my friends brought their console and the same games that I had, and we set up one TV on either side of the room. We sat back-to-back playing all night, occasionally swapping seats so we could compete with each other! I barely remember the games we played or the friends I had over, but I just remember feeling like it was one of the best birthdays I'd ever had!

What Are You Currently Playing?
I'm currently between an old favorite and a new release! With the remaster ofHorizon: Zero Dawndropping, I've got another excuse to dive into Aloy's story and boy, what a great story it is. On the other hand, I've also got a lore-rich and content-heavy RPG inDragon Age: The Veilguardon my PlayStation, so I'll be kept pretty preoccupied getting through both of these big franchise installments!

What’s Something You Miss About Old PlayStation Consoles?
As digital storefronts gradually take over the entire market, I can't help but miss the feeling of getting a physical copy that had a book inside of it! Whether it had story and lore, controls, or simply concept art, I loved checking out the reading material they added to physical game copies. I haven't experienced the excitement of picking up a pre-order sinceCrash Bandicoot's remastered trilogy. You just can't beat it.

What Upcoming Release Are You Most Excited For?
There are a couple of future titles that I'm eagerly awaiting to drop, but I think the biggest one on my radar right now isMarvel Rivals. I don't usually go for hero shooters, but as a Marvel fan I jumped at the opportunity to play the beta and absolutely loved it. Beyond that,Kingdom Come Deliverance 2looks phenomenal, can't wait to see that one next year!

After So Many Roguelike Releases, Risk of Rain 2 is Still My Favorite
I've played a lot of roguelikes this past year, but none of them have made me cackle maniacally the same way that Risk of Rain 2 has. It's crazy how you can go from a guy with a gun plodding around an alien planet to a demigod armed to the teeth with seemingly normal yet suspiciously powerful items. The way Risk of Rain 2 has me going in a trance always makes me come back for just one more run every so often.

With All The Recent Marvel Hype, It's Time We Got a New Ultimate Alliance Game
I have very fond memories of playing the PSP port of Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and with the recent success of Rivals, I'd love to see the former get revived for modern audiences. Beating up bad guys was such a joy in that game, and I think it'd be a missed opportunity not to revive it.

Which PlayStation Classic Needs A Remake and Why?
TheTwisted Metalseries is one of the most iconic PlayStation games of all time, but aside from the 2023 TV adaptation, we haven't seen a newTwisted Metalentry for more than 12 years. The over-the-top violence and fun driving mechanics comprised a simple but ridiculously fun concept that led to a lot of games in the late 90s and 2000s, but we haven't heard barely a peep since 2012. With all the leaps in technology since the PS3 era, a bombastic, modernized remake of the firstTwisted Metalgame could do wonders to reboot the series' popularity and make for a good competitor in the relatively sparse party racing genre.

What Do You Think of the Midtown Map in Marvel Rivals?
It's fairly standard as far as Convoy maps go. The sightlines are tight and cramped, and all the tall walls and buildings let me terrorize Iron Man and Storm players as Iron Fist all game long. However, I do think the art stands out — the view of the city while attackers ride an elevator down before a match starts is a touch of flavor I never expected from Marvel Rivals.
