So I've been mucking around with the 29 Pedals 'Euna' captures that are on the cloud. I have to say, these are pretty damn good in front of an amp. If you haven't given them a try, I would recommend!

Even the capture that is just 'on' without Low, Harmonics or Bright engaged does a little something to bring more presence to the tone.

Agree, I'm quite liking them. Though I believe the builder chimed in somewhere on TGP to say that the captures don't work the same as the actual pedal.

Interesting! That has me interested in getting a hold of pedal at some stage to see. I can imagine it could be a bit tricky to capture, especially getting the volume to match. But the captures are definitely adding to the EQ somewhat. Handy captures to have I think!

Yes, great capure nonetheless.

Dream capture of all time would be if someone had a Stulce amp!

I've read that too. It had something to do with phases, IIRC. Though, I have to say, if it sounds good and brings us 80-90% of the benefits of the real pedal, it is good. Also, not to forget, the builder still wants to sell his pedal Quad Cortex - Presets & Captures (3)

Hey all! I just did some captures of my Suhr Badger 18 and created a preset.
They came out really nice I think, definitely very close to the amp!
See what you think!

Great job! I didn't have any Badger's in my amp collection so fits perfectly in my tones!
Thanks for the effort and sharing! Definitely a keeper!

I'll be uploading a few captures soon.

My vintage blackface Princeton Reverb with 12" speaker.
Dr. Z Maz 38
and a couple custom tweed amps including a Skip Simmons 1947 Masco P.A. conversion with some big bottles in it. Both of these old tweed circuits generate some sweet, thick, gooey are harmonic distortion.

Any Metallica/Mesa fans? I'm a huge one and this is the best Metallica preset I've found. Using the GGD Cali Cabs as the IR makes it quite a bit better also but it's still killer. Try pulling down the delay time to 18ms instead of where it's at - sounds bigger to me and you don't get the delay wash from the stereo effect.

I just joined the Neural DSP brethren this week and I wondered if anyone made something like this.. I always love trying out Metallica based patches to see how close we can get with the current technology .. those guitar tones from their history are still some of my favorites today ..

Hey QC people…….

I created an 8-Scene Preset using the stock “Bogna Fish+290 8” Capture.

Here’s some direct (Single guitar) samples & what I’m hearing.

Preset: “Bogner Fish X”

Enjoy, Peace & Happy Shredding! Tim

PS - My favorite tone comes at the 2:56 mark…..& rolling your guitar volume knob to around 8 sounds scary good on my EVH too.

Hey JerEvil…..

Nice job on the QC packs & website.

I am looking through what you’ve created & are offering. The 1st couple amps I’ve never heard of……but I could be out of the loop. Lol

I love the one with the following drive pedals……
View attachment 547424
& this really interests me pedal wise……

I love liquid leads for legato type lead playing…..& Hot Rodded Marshal type tones & I have to come to like Recto type stuff as well.

I am open to something new & wonder what pack you suggest if I only night one to try out?

I had to look-up the Randall amp……& don’t know anything about it.

I see that you have Amp only & Amp + Cabinet too. Is the Amp+Cab your IR’s or a real cabinet?

Thanks in advance! X-Mann

I got back into my “Wicked Tones” Captures by @JerEvil & I have to say that I really love the sound & feel of the Randall Diavlo 45 amp w/ that “Black Forrest” pedal & cabinet baked-in.

Here’s some Saturday Night Shredding on my Charvel Pro-MOD DK24 HH. The Full Shred Bridge pickup LOVES this Capture too!

Thanks again Jer!!!! X

Found these Tone King Imperial plugin captures that were uploaded, sounds great! The user has uploaded a few across the plug suite. Cabs baked in.
A nice clean, glassy clean and blues tone with the 2 OD pedals captures to put in front.
I havent had a chance to try the plugin yet but did the tones on my Valentine!

Did some captures of my JVM410H
Made a Present with those, plus my Mesa Mark V 3rd Channel,RedPlate BluesMachine, TSV808+Klon, TS808 from 1981 with JRC Chip
Pics are my Capture Settings & Amp Settings for the JVM410H

NoCab on Captures.
Cabs in preset we're IRs. Something Marshall, Mesa or Bogner would be suitable.
I'm currently running out of Out3 into SeymourDuncan PS170 to a OpenBack Diezel 1x12 with a G12H30 anniversary practice or same Cab with V30 at Home or for Gigs
