Summer Solstice Evening
Saturday, June 22nd at the beautiful Andrews Farm in Emporium.
All proceeds will benefit the Cameron County Ambulance Association, CCOYA, and our own scholarship fund.
Tickets $35 and are on sale currently from these SHC members – Michelle Clark, Chrissy Slusarick, Dick Lewis, Rowan Crisp, Barb Grimone, Kathy DeSio, or Karen Jiang.
We can accept payment via Venmo @Sylvan-Heritage Council, cash, or check.

Youth will be able to learn about horses in all different ways. How they interact positively with humans, basic riding skills, horsemanship skills, and more.
Camp includes time for socializing, encouraging others, and learning about our own abilities.

Join the Conservation Education Staff for this FIRST EVER trivia night at the Elk Country Visitor Center.
Categories to Include:
– Local Elk Country History
– PA Elk
– PA History
– PA Flora and Fauna
– Trivia Pursuit
– $40 per team and a team can consist of 2-4 members.
– There will be a total of 5 categories with 20 questions each.
– 15 total teams accepted
– There will be snacks and drinks throughout the night. Each team members 21+ will receive 2 drink coupons (soft drinks also provided) to be used during the night.
– Raffles and 50/50

This performance is free and open to the public in the St. Marys Area High School Carpin Auditorium. Donations at the door are appreciated but not required.
Please note that due to the construction project at the St. Marys Area High School parking will be limited to the Middle School parking lot, and entry will only be permitted at a designated side entrance. (An imagewill be posted in the Discussion tab to clarify.)
Doors to the building will open at 6PM. Auditorium doors will open at 6:30PM.
This form is to be completed by exhibitors and artists by June 1, 2024 as intention to participate in the 2024 PA Firefly Festival. The dates are Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29.
Nature Exhibits are open from 7pm to 8:30 pm both nights. Exhibitors and Artists are expected to display on both nights. Set up starts at 5:30 pm on Friday. Exhibitors have the choice of a 6-foot table and 2 chairs in the 3-bay garage, or pavilion. You may also choose to set up your own booth/tent outside if you prefer.
The “Art after Dark” Exhibit will be open from 9:15 pm to 11:00 pm both nights. Artists are invited to display firefly inspired or themed visual artwork that is either fluorescent or lighted. Artists are welcome to attend (but are not required)to sell their work or just be on hand to interpret or answer questions about the art.Artist and Exhibitorscan leave displays overnight Friday and Exhibitors should return Saturday before 7pm. Artists may pick up their items after 11:00 pm on Saturday, or Sunday morning. This is not a juried show nor competition, but please submit a photo of your art and a size description below, so that we can plan accordingly for the installation.

All exhibitors/artists are welcome to join us on the firefly walks and viewing. We allow exhibitors/artists/volunteers to camp onsite or you may arrange your own local accommodations. Please, let us know if you need overnight accommodations.
